Juanjo (Juan) Guarnido (Born 1967) is active/lives in Spain, France.  Juanjo Guarnido is known for Comic illustration, animation.

Juanjo Guarnido's illustrations have been published in Comics Forum - Planeta de Agostini. He worked in Madrid for the TV-animation industry. In 1993, he moved to Paris joining Disney studios at Montreuil and worked on film such as: Tarzan,  Hercules and Atlantis, the Lost Empire, as a layout man and animator.

When the studio finally halts productions in France, he naturally comes back to his first love: comics. Blacksad, his first album at Dargaud and the story of an anthropomorphic saga of a black-cat private detective, quickly become a phenomenon.
